PET/ANIMAL POLICY:  The Ark on Lanier is pet friendly up to a certain number of pets, and charges a pet fee of $250 per pet in addition to a $250 pet damage deposit per pet. You can find more info in your rental agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  If you must cancel, we will open up the dates on our calendar and try to re-rent the Ark. If we are successful, we will refund you 90% of the daily rate of the new reservation amount, on a pro-rata basis.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to protect against financial loss from unforeseen conditions that may lead to cancellation (ex: sickness or injury, job loss or relocation, severe weather, revoked military leave, etc). THE ARK ON LANIER DATA SHARING POLICY:  The Ark on Lake Lanier does not share your information with anyone without your written permission. We do store customer data in customer relationship software that allows us to communicate with our customers in an efficient manner.  We store customer information in our system indefinitely. The most common examples are comments include booking reservations,  blog/social media posts, inquiries filled out on our website, or customer initiated text conversations with us.

COMMENTS & FORM REGISTRATIONS:  When visitors leave comments or fill out forms on the sites where your information is collected,  we use the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

MEDIA: If you upload/post images to the website or social media, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images you post.

COOKIES: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
